Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an AEM Technical Lead for a remote, Inside IR35 contract. You will own the technical authority for the Website to Adobe migration, shaping a stable, secure, and scalable global platform across Adobe Experience Cloud components. Start ASAP, 12-month duration, day rate up to £850.

You will lead architecture, integration, data migration and deployment, with emphasis on risk mitigation and stakeholder alignment across Adobe, partners and platform teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technical or architectural transformation.
• End-to-end custom portal-to-Adobe migration experience.
• Experience with Commerce, Journey Optimizer, CDP and related Adobe tools.

Responsibilities

• Define milestones and architecture with a clear technical roadmap for the migration to Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Ensure a stable, secure and scalable global platform with controlled deployment risk.
• Coordinate with Adobe, partners and platform teams; manage dependencies and escalation routes.
• Oversee integration, identity, data migration and deployment, with emphasis on security and performance.

The Client is a leading supply chain company who have been operating for over 80 years with around 12,000 employees globally, in over 60 countries.

The Programme you will be on focuses on is replacing its current platform with a modern, cloud-native digital experience foundation anchored in the Adobe Experience Cloud / Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) ecosystem.

Here you will be the Technical authority within Technology Services for the custom Website to Adobe migration, establishing a stable, scalable, secure and supportable global platform.

Key Accountabilities/Outcomes

• - Milestones and architecture aligned, with a clear technical roadmap & design around
  • o Adobe Experience Manager (AEM): Serving as the core content management and digital experience delivery layer for web and customer portal
  • o Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RT-CDP / AEP B2B): Used for real-time customer profiling, event ingestion using Experience Data Models (XDM), and unified segmentation.
  • o Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO): Planned for customer journey orchestration, messaging, and multi-channel engagement workflows.
  • o Adobe Commerce (Adobe CE): Evaluated alongside headless microservices for transactional and order management capabilities.
  • o Supporting AEP Tooling: Leveraging native testing and operational tooling such as AEP Assurance for event validation and SDK debugging.
