If you're passionate about empowering others, upholding people's rights, and making sure voices are heard, this could be the role for you.

About the Role

As an Advocacy Support Worker, you\'ll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, helping them navigate systems, understand their rights, and make informed choices about their care and support. You\'ll co-ordinate and facilitate group advocacy meetings, promote service user engagement, deliver information sessions and training, and work across various settings including acute inpatient mental health wards and supported living accommodation.

This is a regional role, meaning travel across Northern Ireland will be required - your flexibility and ability to work independently will be essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate group advocacy meetings across a range of environments
  • Promote Inspire\'s advocacy services and support client engagement
  • Liaise with professionals and support teams
  • Maintain accurate records, including minutes and monitoring reports
  • Deliver training sessions to clients and service users
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and uphold confidentiality
  • Participate in team meetings, reflective practice, and service development

  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and online systems
  • Full driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required)
  • Flexibility to travel regionally and occasionally work evenings/weekends

  • Determined - Going the extra mile to make a difference
  • Kind - Creating space for compassion, respect and dignity
  • Honest - Acting with integrity, even when it\'s difficult
  • Innovative - Bringing new ideas to life and championing change
