Job Description

The Presales Solution Consultant is a technical expert responsible for developing, positioning, and delivering product-specific solutions during sales cycles. The role involves supporting sales objectives within an assigned territory.

As a Presales Solution Consultant for our Customer Workflows business unit, your responsibilities include assisting with product customer requirements gathering, demonstrations, product configuration for proof of concepts, and participating in marketing events. Strong customer service skills, quick learning ability, and the capacity to translate technical features into benefits are essential. You will serve as the product expert, conveying value to address customer business issues.

What you will do:
  • Support solution sales as a technical and domain expert within a client-facing sales team.
  • Contribute to sales campaigns focused on Customer Service Management.
  • Maintain a showcase of Customer Service Management solutions built on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify customer challenges and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
  • Address technical questions from customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Configure demonstration environments to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver product demonstrations in person and via WebEx.
  • Provide feedback for product improvements based on customer insights.
  • Share best practices with team members to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Stay informed about competitors and differentiators.
  • Communicate effectively with both business and technical decision-makers.
  • Respond to RFI/RFP documents.
  • Support marketing events like conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.
  • Act as a subject matter expert at executive briefings and marketing events.
Qualifications:

Requirements for success:

  • Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • 8+ years in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering within Customer Experience, CRM, or Customer Engagement sectors.
  • Experience with complex enterprise deals, preferably in the Telco industry.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or similar cloud solutions.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven relationship-building skills, including experience with C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate value propositions effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working collaboratively across sales ecosystems.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline development.
  • Creative problem-solving with a growth mindset.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with high energy and passion.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
