Job Description

The Advisory Consulting team is a small, but rapidly growing team in Bristol and London that supports businesses in a range of situations, from companies experiencing underperformance, to successful businesses looking to further optimise and grow.

Our team operates in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. We focus on adding tangible value to our clients through high standards of intellectual rigour and analytical capacity. The Associate Director candidate should be a self-starter, capable of challenging the status quo, with a positive, collaborative attitude. The role offers exposure to senior client stakeholders and leadership teams to accelerate career development.

As an Associate Director, you will work with corporate clients, private equity investors, and lenders on projects from business turnaround to value creation. You will lead engagements and collaborate with other teams such as Tax, Restructuring, Transaction Services, and Corporate Finance.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading complex client engagements ensuring high-quality, timely delivery
  • Proactively contributing to project delivery with a 'get things done' attitude
  • Managing client relationships at senior levels as a trusted advisor
  • Overseeing project scopes, economics, and invoicing
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members
  • Driving new business opportunities and supporting proposition development
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications:
  • Experience in business turnaround and transformation programmes, preferably within consulting or in-house roles
  • Experience with mid-market firms is advantageous
  • Strong financial and operational skills, understanding commercial drivers and financial statements
  • Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to build and maintain senior client relationships
  • Familiarity with financial models, PowerBI dashboards preferred
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA are preferred
