Job summary

Capital Tax Recruitment is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to join its growing private business team in the UK, working with privately owned UK companies including fast-growth start-ups and PE-backed businesses expanding internationally.

You will own transfer pricing engagements end-to-end, build strong client relationships, contribute to business development, and mentor junior colleagues in a collaborative tax advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical grounding in transfer pricing and related tax rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with client-facing experience.
• Commercial, client-first mindset with strong business sense.
• Good judgement around risk and when to escalate issues.
• Strong organisational skills: prioritising, meeting deadlines, managing workload.
• Degree and professional qualification (ACA/CTA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent) or equivalent tax experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with a consistently high level of service.
• Take ownership of transfer pricing engagements from start to finish, balancing technical quality with commercial pragmatism.
• Provide coaching and support to junior colleagues in day-to-day work.

The team covers the full transfer pricing lifecycle, helping clients set up, document, monitor, and where necessary defend their intercompany pricing arrangements in line with their wider commercial strategy. What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, providing a consistently high level of service
• Playing an active role in business development, from nurturing existing accounts to helping bring in new clients

• Managing risk sensibly, for both clients and the firm
• Supporting and coaching junior colleagues as part of day-to-day work
• Settling in quickly with new teams and collaborating well across the wider practice
