As the Advertising Sales Director, in our London office, you will lead and grow Taboola’s Enterprise advertiser agency business by running a team of sellers and account managers – working to land new opportunities and grow our incredible momentum in this market and scale the business further.

You will join our growing team and focus on building and managing long-term strategic partnerships with Tier 1 agencies across the Region. As a highly-valued and proactive individual, you will contribute to Taboola’s growth by advocating the power of our platform across agency accounts. Success in this role is based on consistent prospecting/networking and pipeline development, new client acquisition/activation, client retention/growth, and achievement against progressive total revenue goals. We operate in a matrixed environment, with support from a skilled team of account managers, media planners, creative strategists and agency development leaders. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 10 years in a key sales leadership position, selling solutions to UK clients
  • Must come with experience of directly managing, recruiting and developing a sales team of at minimum 6 people
  • Significant experience in structuring and negotiating deals – a must to have such experience within the digital media space
  • Experience mentoring sales people and paving the way for them to excellent performance
  • Experience independently building, pursuing and closing a large pipeline of leads
  • Technologically Savvy – ability to learn what is needed to support deal’s successful implementation and optimization
  • Experienced in building a great sales culture and team camaraderie
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment and consistently learn, adapt and develop.

How you’ll make an impact:

As an Advertising Sales Director, you’ll bring value by:

  • Manage a team of agency sellers and account managers to land and scale new business, focusing on our ideal customer profile
  • Effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management
  • Manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, regularly tracking and optimizing performance
  • Understand clients’ organization and offer multiple Taboola products to a given client by finding the right stakeholders for each product
  • Gain excellent understanding of digital technology, video, and revenue ecosystem to be able to explain product benefits within this context
  • Work closely with the Country Manager to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Work closely with the ‘agency team’ to ensure we are hitting trading deal revenue targets and unlock new opportunities
  • Represent Taboola at in person events including speaking slots
  • Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation of our products and technology
  • Convey feedback from clients to Taboola’s product team regarding product development needsHave an active social and on stage presence, actively building your network
