Job summary

Askham Bryan College is seeking an Adventure Sport Instructor to deliver practical outdoor learning across nine one-week residential blocks totaling 37 hours. The role includes leading expeditions and fieldwork for FE/HE learners and helping shape a new Foundation Degree in Adventure Sport.

Responsibilities

Deliver practical outdoor learning, residential experiences and off-site activities.
Support planning, preparation and delivery of adventure sport activities on and off campus.
Lead residential weeks and outdoor expeditions across the academic year.
Deliver practical activities and fieldwork for further and higher education learners.
Support high-quality teaching, learning and practical outdoor instruction across adventure sport programmes.
Develop learners' technical, leadership and employability skills.
Help shape the future development of further education provision and the Foundation Degree in Adventure Sport.
