Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks an Advanced Practitioner in Ultrasound/Sonography (Band 7) to lead ultrasound services across Lincolnshire. The post involves obstetric, abdominal, and vascular imaging, with weekend 7.5-hour shifts and travel to multiple sites within the Trust.

You will hold a PgDip in ultrasound, be HCPC registered, and participate in ongoing CPD. A relocation package and recruitment premia apply, with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• PgDip (Medical Ultrasound) from a CASE-accredited programme or accepted equivalent.
• HCPC registration must be current and maintained.
• FMF and/or DQUAS registration are desirable qualifications.
• NHS ultrasound experience in a previous sonographer post is essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake obstetric, general abdominal, gynaecological, small parts, DVTs and carotid ultrasound examinations.
• Work across Lincoln County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital Boston and other trust sites as required.
• Be an effective communicator and able to work alone or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Relocate to other sites within the Trust to support a 7-day week working pattern.
