Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking an experienced Band 7 Advanced Tissue Viability Nurse to join our specialist Tissue Viability Service in the North Central Division, Barnet. The post involves expert assessment, management and evaluation of complex wounds across community settings, patients' homes and nursing homes.

You will provide clinical leadership, promote evidence-based practice and support the MDT through education, supervision and service development, driving high standards of tissue viability care

Qualifications

• BSc CPD in Tissue Viability related discipline and NMC registration are required.
• Experience in tissue viability and complex wound care is essential.
• Post-registration experience in tissue viability treatments and related care is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, management and evaluation of complex wounds.
• Lead and supervise designated junior staff in tissue viability duties.
• Deliver specialist advice, education and supervision to the MDT.
