Job summary

The Christie Hospital Manchester is seeking a Specialist Pharmacist for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) to join our expanding clinical team. You will support ATMP governance, prescribing, preparation, and monitoring across inpatient, ambulatory and day case settings, with opportunity to develop independent prescribing practice.

Working within a MDT, you will lead service developments, contribute to national ATMP strategy, and collaborate with clinical, research and operational

Qualifications

Vaccination of clinical pharmacy services within oncology/haematology
Experience with ATMPs governance and JACIE standards preferred
Ability to develop and implement new service models around ATMPs
Ability to prescribe independently (or work toward qualification) and manage a caseload

Responsibilities

Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services for haemato-oncology and solid tumour patients
Deputise for Lead Haematology Pharmacist in ATMP service development
Lead prescribing, preparation, storage and monitoring of ATMPs
Ensure governance and budgetary compliance, contribute to guidelines and SOPs
Participate in MDT meetings and clinical screenings, promote patient safety and medication optimisation
