Job summary

Gloucestershire Oncology Centre is seeking a Band 6 Practitioner Radiographer for the Hereford department. The role involves delivering and supervising complex radiotherapy procedures, operating treatment machines, performing imaging, and contributing to a high standard of patient care within an advanced radiotherapy environment.

This position is based in Hereford, with opportunities to participate in national trials and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiotherapy or equivalent required.
• HCPC Registration required.
• Experience in post-registration radiotherapy practice desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise a range of complex radiotherapy procedures.
• Operate the treatment machine on a daily basis and cover for the Band 7 lead when required.
• Carry out volumetric imaging and treatment placement decisions; update QA systems.
