Job summary

Outwood Academy Haydock is seeking an experienced Advanced Teaching Assistant to support student achievement across all learning platforms. The role involves delivering targeted interventions and high-quality learning activities for individuals and small groups, both in-person and online.

The successful candidate will monitor progress, contribute to development plans, and support diverse learners including those with SEND, EAL, and gifted/talented status.

Role: Advanced Teaching Assistant
Academy: Outwood Academy Haydock
Start Date: 12/10/2026
Salary (Actual Salary): £20,545 - £21,783
Working Pattern: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Mon to Fri, Term Time only plus 5days (This is a permanent contract subject to external funding for the nurture provision currently approved until 31/08/2029)
