Advanced Teaching and Learning Practitioner

About the role: Are you passionate about empowering educators to reach their full potential? Do you thrive on coaching and mentoring others to improve their teaching practices? We are looking for a dedicated Advanced Teaching and Learning Practitioner to join our team, supporting the professional growth of teaching staff across diverse subject areas. This role is a part-time 0.5 FTE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coaching teaching staff to develop outstanding teaching practices.
  • Conducting learning walks, observations, and drop-ins to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA).
  • Designing and delivering tailored training sessions and CPD activities.
  • Supporting the use of digital tools and innovative techniques to improve teaching.
  • Working closely with curriculum managers to set ambitious improvement targets.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven track record in effective teaching within an FE/HE setting.
  • Strong understanding of current and blended pedagogical practices.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching educators with demonstrable results.
  • Excellent digital skills, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Teams and Canvas.
