Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an innovative Advanced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join Connect ED, a Specialist Eating Disorder Service within Tier 4 CAMHS. The post covers a broad geographical area across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and requires travel between sites to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with suitable qualifications.
• Experience delivering OT in children and young people with mental health needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly specialist OT assessment, intervention and management for young people with complex eating disorders.
• Lead occupational therapy pathways and programmes to enhance engagement and participation in daily activities.
• Manage a complex clinical caseload and provide evidence-based, occupation-focused interventions across settings.
