Salford Council is seeking an Advanced Social Work Practitioner to lead by example within a supportive team of social workers in Salford. The Swinton Neighbourhood Team is one of five locality-based teams providing support to adults aged 18 and over across Salford. Based in the heart of the city, the team is responsible for delivering statutory social work functions in line with the Care Act 2014. In addition to its neighbourhood responsibilities, the team leads on Care Act duties for HMP Forest Bank and St Joseph’s Approved Premises. The team also provides specialist support to individuals with complex physical disabilities living within the Pendleway Housing Scheme, working in partnership with a range of agencies to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
