What you will do:

* Provide professional leadership and guidance to colleagues, supporting your Team Manager with daily operations.

* Carry a reduced caseload, working with children and families with complex needs, undertaking in-depth assessments.

* Share your knowledge and experience through supervision and mentoring, continuously improving practice standards within your team.

* Champion high standards of professional social work practice, fostering a culture of reflection and learning.

* Deliver on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching to unqualified or less experienced staff, students, and social workers.

* Lead the development of evidence-based practice, working collaboratively in a multi-agency environment to support families with complex needs.

Working as an Advanced Social Worker, with substantial post-qualifying experience, you will demonstrate your capability to work effectively in challenging environments, while also ensuring exceptional social work standards. You'll be instrumental in mentoring and coaching your colleagues, fostering a robust team environment that thrives on learning and professional development.
