Job Description:

Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner

Location: Leeds

Rate: £37 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30 – 17:00

Responsibilities:
  • Support and assess student social workers on placement in Barnsley.
  • Supervise, support, and guide Newly Qualified Social Workers during their Assessed and Supported Year in Practice.
  • Develop and deliver training aligned with the Barnsley Stronger Together practice model.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team to embed learning from audits.
  • Promote multi-agency working and good practices across services.
  • Ensure staff have resources and tools for professional development.
  • Mentor and support colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Evidence of practice/mentoring
