Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is recruiting an Advanced Social Work Practitioner for the Broxtowe Community Social Work Team, based at the Middle Street Resource Centre, Beeston. The role offers a hybrid working model with a permanent, full-time contract and 37 hours per week.

You will lead a team, develop new working practices, and provide guidance to less experienced social workers while conducting assessments and creating tailored care plans in a community setting.

In This Role, You Will

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

• A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in adult social care, ideally in a community setting.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in social work.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• You will either be an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) a Best Interests Assessor (BIA) or Practice Educator (Level 2) Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adult's work within multi-agency procedures and experience of staff supervision, training, and development.
• You will have a full driver's licence and the use of a car for work (unless disability precludes this).
