Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking an experienced Advanced Scaffolder to erect, alter, and dismantle complex scaffolding across UK construction sites. You will interpret drawings, ensure safety, and maintain TG20 compliance with RAMS standards.

As a senior member on site, you will oversee quality assurance, mentor trainees, coordinate with engineers and managers, and safeguard access solutions per Laing O'Rourke's safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as an Advanced Scaffolder on construction or infrastructure projects.
• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder certification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret scaffold designs and technical drawings.
• Thorough understanding of current health and safety legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Erect, alter, and dismantle complex scaffolding across multiple sites.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and scaffold design plans.
• Ensure scaffolding is safe, fit for purpose, and compliant with TG20 and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and maintain records of scaffolding installations.
• Mentor trainees or junior scaffolders and coordinate with site teams.
