Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking an Advanced Scaffolder for a busy site in Wigan. Role involves erecting, altering and dismantling complex scaffolding to drawings and site requirements, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include installing advanced systems, inspections, working at height with PPE, and coordinating with trades to meet project standards. 6-week contract on site with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Advanced Scaffolder on construction or civil sites.
• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder qualification.
• Safety-critical medical required.

Responsibilities

• Erect, alter and dismantle advanced scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
• Work from drawings, plans and site requirements to ensure scaffolds are constructed accurately.
• Install complex scaffolding systems, including independent, birdcage, loading bay and temporary works.
• Carry out inspections and ensure scaffolding complies with health and safety standards.
• Work at height following site safety procedures and using PPE.
• Assist with general scaffolding duties and maintain a tidy working area.
• Work closely with other site trades and site management.
• Ensure all scaffolding work is completed to a high standard per site requirements.

Role: Advanced Scaffolder

Location: Barracks Road, Wigan, WN2 5TE

Rate: 28

Hours: 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday

Duration: 6 weeks

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, is currently seeking Advanced Scaffolders to join them on a busy site based at Barracks Road, Wigan, WN2 5TE.

As an Advanced Scaffolder, your duties will include:

• Erecting, altering and dismantling advanced scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
• Working from drawings, plans and site requirements to ensure scaffolds are constructed accurately
• Installing complex scaffolding systems, including independent, birdcage, loading bay and temporary works structures
• Carrying out inspections and ensuring scaffolding complies with relevant health and safety standards
• Working at height while following all site safety procedures and using appropriate PPE
• Assisting with general scaffolding duties and maintaining a safe and tidy working area
• Working closely with other site trades and the site management team
• Ensuring all scaffolding work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with site requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as an Advanced Scaffolder on construction or civil engineering sites
• Valid CISRS Advanced Scaffolder qualification
• Safety-critical medical required
