Job summary

Jobit in the UK is seeking an experienced Part 2 / Advanced Scaffolder to support projects across Yorkshire, including Doncaster, Sheffield and Market Weighton. You will erect, adapt, inspect and dismantle complex scaffolding systems while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

This is a full-time ongoing role with ASAP start for suitable candidates who can contribute to a skilled site team and work across multiple projects with varied access requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as Part 2 / Advanced Scaffolder with knowledge of complex scaffolding systems.
• In-date CISRS card.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with site teams and other trades.
• Physically capable of handling heavy materials and working at height in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with hand tools or power tools or fabrication techniques would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Erect, adapt and dismantle advanced scaffolding structures per project requirements and safety standards.
• Carry out regular inspections to identify hazards and maintain scaffold integrity.
• Coordinate access requirements with site managers, engineers and other trades.
• Use hand tools and equipment to assemble scaffolding components safely and efficiently.
• Follow site health and safety procedures, secure work areas and check equipment.
• Maintain accurate records relating to scaffold installations, inspections, alterations and removal.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part 2 / Advanced Scaffolder to join a well-established scaffolding company, supporting projects across Yorkshire, including Doncaster, Sheffield, Market Weighton and surrounding areas.

As a Part 2 / Advanced Scaffolder, you will erect, adapt, inspect and dismantle complex scaffolding systems while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

This is a full-time ongoing role, with opportunities available for candidates who can start ASAP.

You will be responsible for:

• Erecting, adapting and dismantling advanced scaffolding structures in line with project requirements and safety standards.
• Carrying out regular inspections to identify hazards and maintain scaffold integrity.
• Working alongside site managers, engineers and other trades to coordinate access requirements.
• Using hand tools and equipment to assemble scaffolding components safely and efficiently.
• Following site health and safety procedures, including securing work areas and checking equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records relating to scaffold installations, inspections, alterations and removal.
