Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking an Advanced Scaffolder in Nottingham for a 1 to 2 week assignment, with potential extension to ongoing work across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. You will assemble scaffolding structures, read plans, comply with SG4 safety standards and supervise Part 1 & 2 scaffolders on site.

Applicants must hold CSCS and CISRS Part 1 & 2, be able to read technical diagrams, and demonstrate time-served industrial scaffolding experience.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and CISRS Part 1 & 2 certification are required.
• Ability to read technical plans and scaffolding diagrams.
• Time-served scaffolder with industrial/scaffolding experience.
• Able to supervise Part 1 and Part 2 scaffolders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrails and safety nets per design plans and safety standards.
• Follow SG4 and other statutory safety requirements for erection/dismantling of simple scaffolds.
• Inspect and handle scaffold tubes, boards and fittings.
• Erect scaffolds in public areas adhering to Local Authority requirements.
• Select and install ties for sheeted and un-sheeted scaffolds.

Part 2 Scaffolders required for a well-established scaffolding contractor based in Nottingham for 1 to 2 weeks to potential on-going work. Sites across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, working for tier 1 and tier 2 contractors as well as housing developers and specialised subcontractors.

The Role

• Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrail, toe boards, and safety nets following design plans and safety standards
• Statutory regulations and safety requirements (including SG4) relating to the erection and dismantling of simple scaffolds
• The correct handling, stacking and inspection of scaffold tubes, boards and fittings
• Erection of scaffolds in public areas in accordance with Local Authority requirements
• Selection and installation of ties for both sheeted and un-sheeted scaffolds

Requirements

• CSCS
• CISRS registered (Part 1 & 2)
• Ability to read technical plans and scaffolding diagrams
