Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced cleaning and sanitization procedures in accordance with established protocols. Operate specialized cleaning equipment, including industrial-grade floor scrubbers, sanitizing foggers, and high-efficiency vacuum systems. Safely handle and apply a wide range of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants, following all safety data sheets (SDS) and regulatory guidelines. Conduct thorough cleaning of high-touch surfaces, restrooms, common areas, and specialized environments. Implement and enforce stringent hygiene measures to prevent the spread of pathogens and maintain a healthy environment. Manage and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for use. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met and identify areas for improvement. Respond promptly to sanitation emergencies or requests for deep cleaning. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any incidents. Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies while working in Randburg .

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sanitation Technician or in a similar advanced cleaning role. Demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of commercial cleaning and sanitizing equipment. In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and their appropriate applications. Strong understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP principles if applicable). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Physical ability to perform demanding cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in various conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
