Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on engineering experience and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Strong organisational, communication and report-writing skills.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working within structured processes where quality, confidentiality and compliance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading small-scale technical projects and supporting larger multidisciplinary programmes.
• Contributing to the development of new technology and capability projects aligned with MTC strategy.
• Supporting horizon-scanning activities to identify emerging technologies and industrial opportunities.
• Assisting with concept generation, detailed engineering design and technical delivery.
• Supporting customer engagement and helping secure repeat business through successful project delivery.
• Working across multiple industries to solve complex engineering and manufacturing challenges.
