Work as a clinical sonographer, delivering a high-quality ultrasound service in accordance with departmental protocols and national standards.
Act as an effective and professional member of the Radiology Department, providing a high standard of imaging and patient care at all times.
Independently manage ultrasound patient lists, including performing and reporting on a variety of ultrasound examinations (e.g., obstetrics, gynaecology, general).
Ensure accurate, clear, and timely documentation and communication of findings to support appropriate clinical management.
Support and contribute to clinical audit, quality assurance, and service improvement activities.
Assist in the supervision, mentorship, and development of trainee sonographers, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical competence.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in departmental meetings and initiatives.
