Thisis a part-time, permanent post (0.5 WTE) based at Bexley Wing, St JamessUniversity Hospital, Leeds.

Thepost holder will work closely with:
Industry partners including commercial Sponsors
Radiotherapy Clinical Team, including Principal and Chief Investigators
The NIHR Clinical Research Network (Yorkshire & Humber)
Regional and national colleagues, attending meetings and contributing tocollaborative research development.

Asthe Senior Research AHP, you will:
Lead and coordinate clinical research within the Radiotherapy Research Team,ensuring studies are delivered to the highest standards.
Provide professional, clinical, and managerial leadership, supporting anddeveloping the Radiotherapy Research delivery staff.
Drive excellence in clinical care, ensuring patient safety, experience, andsatisfaction remain at the forefront of all research activity.
Youwill play a key role in shaping and enhancing the performance of theRadiotherapy Research portfolio, acting as a role model and mentor within theteam.

Thepost holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of the clinical
researchwithin the Research and Innovation (R&I) department.
Additionally,where appropriate, they will provide professional, clinical,
managerialleadership and supervision for the research delivery team. In
collaborationwith the immediate and broader multidisciplinary team (MDT),
beresponsible for ensuring that high standards of clinical care planning,
delivery,safety and patient satisfaction is to a very high standard, compliant
withTrust policy, study protocol requirements, local and national guidance
andlegislation.
Workingeffectively and proactively with senior colleagues, the MDT and
agreedexternal agencies and collaborative partners, the individual will
adhereto agreed study pathways and processes to derive accurate and
robustdata capture, of observational and interventional studies, and
ensurepharmacovigilance is maintained.
