A healthcare provider in Bradford is seeking a Part-time CT Radiographer with a Masters-level qualification to perform CT scans and lead training. Responsibilities include acting as a sole practitioner and participating in audits and research. Essential skills include experience with RIS/PACS and intravenous cannulation. B7 Part time (15 hours) CT Radiographer holding the relevant Masters level post graduate qualification or equivalent to enable you to perform all CT examinations to the highest standard using highly specialised skills and experience
To act as a highly skilled specialist in the radiographic area of CT scanning and as such be accountable for your own actions
To have an active role in research, audit and clinical governance within Radiology.
To work unsupervised as the sole lead practitioner to provide a timely and diagnostic CT study.
To be competent to perform IV cannulation on a broad range of patients. To safely administer contrast agents using high pressure injectors.
To have an active role in the training of all staff in CT scanning (including students training at masters level).
To work broadly according to evidence based practice protocols developed within the department for a range of CT examinations without work being checked or supervised.
To provide medicines to patients safely under a PGD.
