NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist for University Hospital Crosshouse. Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:

An integral part of the Orthopaedic team, you will hold a self-generated caseload, incorporating patient diagnosis, assessment, and treatment, carrying out or requesting investigations when clinically indicated. You will lead on the development of new innovative clinical pathways and conduct clinical triage to ensure patients can access the right support from the right person at the earliest opportunity. You will also act as an expert resource and have active involvement in Clinical Governance, Clinical Effectiveness and Research.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

It is essential that you possess a Diploma/MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy and are HCPC registered

You will have appropriate postgraduate training or experience equivalent to a Masters Level, with proven leadership experience and an advanced knowledge of evidence based practice.

Hours:

37 per week - job share would be considered.
