Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for an Advanced Practitioner within the Permanence Team to work Full Time based in Northamptonshire.

The salary for this Advanced Practitioner job is up to £49,753 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work independently to hold and effectively manage a small complex caseload, including high-risk looked after children, high profile court work, and specialist assessments.
  2. Undertake high-quality direct work with children, young people, and families, prioritising their safety.
  3. Lead family network meetings and case mappings, conducting ongoing family assessments.
  4. Co-work specialist assessments with less experienced team members.
  5. Assist the Team Manager in recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance management of team members.
  6. Utilise reflective supervision and seek advice when necessary from Senior Practice Leaders and Clinical Practitioners.
  7. Make informed practice decisions based on law, regulatory guidance, and social policy.
  8. Develop realistic child-centred plans to manage and reduce risks.
  9. Arrange transport/escort for Service Users to appointments and provide practical support.
  10. Maintain and update case notes and records, and write reports as required.
  11. Contribute to planning and reviewing cases of children in care.
  12. Devise and deliver practice workshops and group supervision sessions.

Requirements:

  1. A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
  3. Registered or eligible for registration.
