Job summary

Wandsworth Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in London. You will work with a co-located team including Police, Health, Education and housing partners to ensure timely access to services for children and families.

As part of the MASH, you will provide supervision to practitioners, guidance to partners, and contribute to improving safeguarding outcomes across the borough.

Qualifications

  • Qualified and professionally registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
  • Completion of ASYE and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Experience of relational practice and ability to provide supportive consultation to partner agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support practitioners within the MASH to ensure timely access to services for children and families.
  • Provide clear, supportive consultation to partners about referrals to the MASH.
  • Work collaboratively with Police, Health, Education and other agencies to improve outcomes for children and families.

Specialists in Substance Misuse, NRPF (No Recourse to Public Funds) and Special Educational Needs are part of our dedicated team, ensuring every child and family receives the tailored support they need.Every day, Social Workers and Practitioners in Wandsworth make a profound impact on children and families.
