Job summary

South Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner (Social Work Qualified) to join the Front Door / Assessment Team within Childrens Social Care. This is a caseholding role suited to a confident, experienced practitioner comfortable working at the point of referral and initial assessment.

Flexible and hybrid working is available, supporting a good work-life balance alongside frontline duty and assessment responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Post-qualifying experience in a duty, assessment, or front-door setting.
