Qualifications

Job description

Children’s Advanced Practitioner / Deputy Team Manager
Team: Front Door
Location: Bolton
Rate: £40
Details:
Our Assessment Service is part of Bolton Council’s Front Door and takes referrals and assessments from the Integrated Front Door. The assessments are regarding children who are at risk of significant harm and in need of support to ensure their welfare and protection. The teams are responsible for Section 47 enquiries, social care assessments, Initial Child Protection Conferences, issuing Care Proceedings and initiating the Public Law Outline.

As a Deputy Team Manager, you will work alongside the team manager to support the management, supervision, support and guidance of a team of social workers. The Deputy Team Manager will ensure that the services offered to children are of the highest quality, ensuring effective safeguarding of children and adhering to statutory and legislative requirements. You will be expected to ensure the excellent standards of work are steered through supervision, quality assurance, performance management and audit.

Hybrid working to meet service needs, will be required to be office based duty week.
