Job Description:

Join our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) as an Advanced Practitioner and make an immediate impact. Use your clinical skills to assess patients by phone and provide safe, timely care as part of a supportive team. Looking for a new challenge or better balance? Location: Anstey Frith House, Leicester, LE3 8RN
Working Patterns: Weekday evenings and Weekend days, afternoons and evenings. Working on a 4-week rolling rota for part time hours.
Competitive salary: £62,484 - £72,865 per annum (pro rata) with additional 30% enhancement for evening work, and 45% enhancement for weekend work
What your typical day looks like:

  • Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
  • Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
  • Initiate specialist referrals where appropriate
  • Maintain high-quality clinical records in line with best practice
  • Stay up to date with developments in clinical practice
  • Work within professional regulatory guidelines and scope of practice
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need:
  • To be registered and practicing with a Professional Body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC)
  • Have evidence of autonomous practice
  • To be a registered non-medical prescriber
  • Have a minimum of x2 modules at Level 7 (including Clinical Assessment Skills)
  • Experience working in telephone triage roles
  • Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
