Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding
Location: Buckinghamshire
Rate: £38 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available in Buckinghamshire. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Safeguarding Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will lead on meeting safeguarding requirements relevant to the Care Act 2014 and in accordance with Buckinghamshire’s Safeguarding policies, procedures, and quality assurance framework, which all council employees are required to operate within. You will undertake safeguarding enquiries in accordance with Section 42 of the Care Act. You will provide information, advice, and guidance to the general public on all aspects of keeping safe and preventing abuse and neglect. Additionally, you will ensure that your knowledge and training in respect of safeguarding issues are developed and maintained in accordance with the Council’s Safeguarding Adults Competency-Based Learning and Development Framework.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work. You must have experience working with adults who have long term conditions and self neglect.
