Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel in Brent is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner in Adults Social Care. The role offers a competitive rate of £36.00 per hour and flexible full-time or part-time hours to suit your lifestyle.

You will manage highly complex cases, provide supervision to social workers, lead safeguarding enquiries, and help drive practice development in line with statutory guidance. Applicants should hold a Social Work degree and be registered with Social Work England.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Practice Educator qualification or willingness to work towards this.
  • Evidence of relevant post-qualifying professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a reduced caseload of highly complex cases with advanced assessment, risk management and intervention planning.
  • Provide professional advice, guidance and reflective supervision to Social Workers, ASYE practitioners and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Lead safeguarding enquiries, investigations and risk assessments per statutory requirements and local procedures.
  • Support the Team Manager with practice development, performance monitoring and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Equality Act 2010 and related guidance.

Person Specification
Qualifications

Registration & Compliance
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
Experience
  • Significant post-qualification experience within a UK local authority, NHS-integrated service, or regulated social care environment.
  • Experience managing highly complex and high-risk cases.
