Location: Bassetlaw Hospital, Kilton Kill, Worksop, S81 0BD

Working Patterns: Bank Contract, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Competitive salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 per annum (pro rata) with a 30% evening enhancement, and 45% weekend enhancement

What your typical day looks like:

• Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
• Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
• Maintain high-quality clinical records
• Work as part of a team and collaborate with other staff within DHU

To be a successful Advanced Practitioner, you'll need:

• Registered and practicing with a Professional Body
• Registered as a non-medical prescriber
• Minimum of two Level 7 modules
• Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
• Proven ability to assess and manage complex conditions in adults and children

Qualifications

• Registered Adult Nurse (NMC), Paramedic (HCPC), or Pharmacist (GPhC)
• Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber
• Masters level education or equivalent
• MSc (Advanced Practice)

Experience

• Substantial autonomous practice in a multi-professional team
• Experience in physical examination and assessment skills
• Knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care (adults and children)
• Experience in nurse-led clinics, emergency care, out-of-hours, or walk-in centres
• Independent prescribing experience
• Telephone triage, emergency care, and general practice experience
