What your typical day looks like:

  • Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
  • Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
  • Initiate specialist referrals where appropriate
  • Maintain high-quality clinical records
  • Participate in policy development and clinical audits

To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need:

  • Professional Registration - NMC, HCPC, or GPhC
  • Independent Prescriber - Registered as a non-medical prescriber
  • Education - Minimum of two Level 7 modules, including clinical assessment skills
  • Experience - Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
  • Proven ability to assess and manage complex conditions in adults and children
