Adults Locality- Social Worker

Pay rate - £41 Umbrella

Devon County Council

Ivybridge/Kingsbridge (The Byre)

Mon – Thurs 9am -5pm & Friday 9am – 4.30pm
Hybrid working – Office & Home (pending service needs) Required to be in the office 2.5 days per week. Please do not submit candidates who cannot commit to attending the office.

• At least 5yrs post qualifying experience.
• Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014 – Good legal literacy.
• Able to provide comprehensive and effective management skills and supervision to the team.
• Able to manage the day to day waiting lists and reviewing function.
• Able to provide support and guidance to the team and duty function.
• Be able to deputise for team manager as required.

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
