Qualifications

  • Capacité à traiter des patients de 12 semaines et plus.
  • Expérience antérieure en soins primaires ou urgents exigée.
  • Prescripteur indépendant ou préférence donnée aux prescripteurs.

Responsibilities

  • Gérer et traiter les patients avec des maladies aiguës et chroniques.
  • Prescrire des médicaments et référer les patients à des spécialistes si nécessaire.
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe de soins de santé pour assurer des soins efficaces.

Job description

Merco are seeking clinicians to help with shifts in Rotherham at the Primary Care Department. There are a mixture of shifts available, including telephone triage, seeing and treating walk-in-patients, and out of hours services. In this role, you will be seeing both adult and paediatric patients presenting with various minor illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses within your scope of practice
  • Prescribe medication and refer patients for further investigations or specialist consultations as required
  • Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathetic approach in dealing with patients and their families

Requirements

  • Advanced Physical Assessment Level 7 or MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • See and treat all age groups from 12 weeks upwards
  • Prescribing in preferred. Non-Prescribers will be considered
  • Previous Primary/Urgent care experience
  • Independent Prescribing
