Advanced Practitioner – Dudley Youth Justice Service
Dudley Youth Offending Service has been on a journey of evolution - a journey towards becoming a therapeutic service. A number of vacancies have arisen resulting in us being able to offer you to join our team.You will be joining a team working towards offering young people an alternative approach to engagement, focussed on attempting to enable young people to desist from offending & anti-social behaviour through therapeutic interventions.We are a service keen to embed a Child First approach to working with all children and believe that championing the positive factors which may already be present in their lives will give us the best chance of achieving this.
We are looking to recruit an Advanced Practitioner.In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day operational management and supporting the Team Manager in the development and delivery of youth justice services throughout Dudley.
You will be tasked with ensuring that the YJS has effective risk management and safeguarding processes in place as well as being responsible for:
To be successful in your expression, you must have a Social Work England (SWE) recognised social work qualification and SWE registration and/or suitable relevant professional qualification.
Experience of working at an Operational Management level is desirable.
