Overview:

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara Plastic Surgery Specialists. The role involves providing inpatient and outpatient pre/post-surgical care for plastic trauma, elective, and cosmetic services.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: 301 Riverview Ave, Norfolk, VA
  • Inpatient Duties: Rounding on plastic surgery-related pre/post-surgical care, ED consults, incision and drainage, wound vac changes, etc.
  • OR/First Assist Duties: Laceration repair, wound closures, breast reconstruction, cosmetic procedures, trauma repairs, etc.
  • Outpatient Duties: Pre/post-surgical care for plastic surgery patients, managing 15-25 patients daily
  • Work with attending and resident plastic surgeons on varied case loads
  • Surgical experience preferred
  • No on-call requirements
