Overview:

Sentara Medical Group has a Flex/PRN opportunity available for an Acute Care NP or PA to join Sentara Neurosurgery Specialists at the Sentara Norfolk General Hospital location. Join an experienced team of 10 neurosurgeons and 12 Advanced Practice Providers who value quality, collegiality, and teamwork. One year's experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care is preferred. The start date is contingent upon hospital and insurance credentialing.

Position Highlights:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in neurosurgery or neuro-critical care preferred
  • Scheduling by mutual agreement
  • Provide care for patients in various settings including ED, NCCU, trauma, and medical floors
  • Responsible for emergent bedside procedures
  • Surgeries performed at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 543-bed tertiary care facility with Level 1 Trauma Center, Virginia Beach General Hospital, and Carplex Hospital
  • Fully integrated EHR (Epic)
