NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join their First Contact Practitioner team in Helensburgh. This role involves advanced clinical practice, working with GPs, and requires significant expertise in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions. The position offers a dynamic and supportive environment in a beautiful location with excellent transport links.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join our First Contact Practitioner (FCP) team within Helensburgh & Lomond. The post holder will be an Advanced Practitioner working alongside GPs and other professionals within General Practice, as well as within the MSK physiotherapy service in Helensburgh & Lomond. The team is also involved in the Orthopaedic Triage service, providing opportunities to collaborate with Orthopaedic consultants within GG&C.
Applications are invited from physiotherapists with advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK conditions. Candidates should demonstrate a high standard of clinical care, with previous specialist experience in this field. A full current driver’s license and access to a car for work purposes are essential.
Applicants must have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and possess a flexible, adaptable approach to work. A minimum of 6 years of MSK experience is required. The role requires the ability to work independently, with excellent communication and team-working skills. Evidence of ongoing professional development is also necessary.
