Job summary

The Lister Hospital is recruiting an Advanced MSK Physiotherapist to join the Outpatient Physiotherapy team and support the London Bridge Hospital campus. You will manage a varied MSK caseload with advanced clinical reasoning and tailor treatment plans to individual patients.

In addition to clinical duties, you will support service development, lead pathway improvements and contribute to the education of colleagues within the department.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Significant post-graduate experience across MSK, sports injuries and post-op orthopaedics.
• Post-graduate training and CPD in Physiotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full, varied and complex MSK caseload with advanced clinical reasoning.
• Deliver high-quality assessments, diagnoses and evidence-based treatments.
• Support service development, contribute to clinical pathways and education across the Outpatient Physiotherapy team.

Role: Advanced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist

Location: The Lister Hospital and occasional support to London Bridge Hospital Campus.

Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week between Monday-Friday

Shifts: 7.5 hour shifts between 0800-2000, a mixture of earlies and lates

Contract type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced MSK Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Physiotherapy team at The Lister Hospital and supporting the London Bridge Hospital campus.

Working within the Outpatient Physiotherapy department, the Advanced MSK Physiotherapist will be responsible for a full varied and complex MSK clinical caseload. Using advanced clinical reasoning skills, they will deliver high-quality assessments, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment programmes tailored to individual patient needs.

Alongside clinical responsibilities, the post holder will support the Outpatient Physiotherapy Lead, Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and other Advanced Physiotherapists on leading service development initiatives, helping to shape clinical pathways and enhance the patient experience, while also contributing to the education and development of colleagues across the wider Outpatient Physiotherapy department.

The role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with leading Orthopaedic, Sports Medicine, Pain and Rheumatology Consultants across The Lister Hospital, contributing to excellent patient outcomes and a seamless multidisciplinary approach to care.
