Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Specialist Neuro-Muscular Team on a fixed-term 12-month maternity leave cover. You will assess and treat children and young people with neuromuscular conditions, delivering high-quality, family-centred care within a multidisciplinary setting.

Fixed Term | 12 months | Maternity Leave Cover An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Specialist Neuro-Muscular Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Working within a supportive and compassionate multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and intervention for children and young people with neuro-muscular conditions, delivering high-quality, family-centred care and supporting them to achieve meaningful outcomes. About You, Reporting into the Neuromuscular Therapy Team Leader , some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the specialist physiotherapy service for children and young people with neuromuscular conditions across the region
  • Manage a complex caseload, providing expert assessment, treatment and ongoing care
  • Work as part of the multidisciplinary neuromuscular team to deliver high-quality, family-centred care
  • Provide specialist advice and support to physiotherapists and other professionals across local and satellite clinics
  • Contribute to service development and the delivery of evidence-based best practice.
    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist with experience of working with children and young people with complex needs.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the impact of disability on children and families, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering family-centred care.
  • You will be compassionate, accountable, committed to excellence, and share the Trust's values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
