We're looking for an Advanced Physiotherapist to join our Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC. The Wellington Hospital is the largest private hospital in the UK and has over four decades of expertise; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care.
As an Advanced Physiotherapist, you'll manage a defined caseload of patients with complex needs. This post will be primarily based in our newly opened geriatric ward to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, and establish a strong physiotherapy service to provide excellent, patient-centred care. The ideal candidate will also be expected to work autonomously in all acute subspecialties to flexibly cover caseloads as required. This includes cardiothoracics and ITU. Participation in the on-call and weekend rotas is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Physiotherapist to join us and be a part of a sociable, excellence-minded team. The successful candidate will need to be proactive and promote Physiotherapy amongst stakeholders. The role also involves supervising junior staff and students, contributing to the development of the team, and developing a service on a new ward.
