Job summary

The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist to join the Clinical Pharmacy team at Queens Medical Centre. You will deliver high-quality medicines-related care within your clinical specialty, supervise junior staff and contribute to service leadership.

You will participate in a planned clinical rotation, 7-day rota and bank holiday duties across Queens Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital, collaborating with medical and nursing teams to optimise therapy.

Responsibilities

• Applying specialist pharmaceutical knowledge to ensure medicines are prescribed and used safely
• Managing medication-related requirements through medicines reconciliation and prescription review
• Interpreting clinical tests to monitor drug therapy and optimise treatment
