Job description

Join us for the first year of the implementation of the foundation pharmacist training year, incorporating the revised standards. You will support the first cohort and lead on future Foundation Trainee Pharmacist Training Programmes, with additional focus on the transition to newly qualified pharmacists.

The role also involves educating and training a range of healthcare learners within the organisation, including junior doctors, and collaborating with wider trust education colleagues and higher education institutions to enhance the skills of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Principal Pharmacist - Clinical Education in coordinating and delivering high-quality education and training to healthcare professionals, including pharmacy staff.
  2. Organise and support undergraduate pharmacy placements.
  3. Identify workforce development opportunities alongside the clinical education team.
  4. Lead the delivery of the Foundation Trainee Pharmacist training programme.
