Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Part time - 21.60 hours/week (0.63 WTE)
Are you interested in working within Paediatric Dietetics? We are considering remote working options, covering general, complex, and HEF clinics via Attend Anywhere, and supporting the wider paediatric team via Teams.
We seek an enthusiastic and self-motivated Dietitian to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave starting March 2025. The role is based at Royal Lancaster Hospital, with occasional travel to Furness General Hospital or remote work as needed.
The role involves inpatient and outpatient work, managing a complex caseload across various clinical areas including nutrition support, enteral feeding, gastroenterology, food allergies, feeding problems, neonates, and eating disorders.
We work closely with the paediatric multidisciplinary team, including consultants, specialist nurses, psychologists, ward staff, health visitors, community nurses, and speech and language therapists.
This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including involvement in audits and student training. Hours are flexible, and we welcome discussions about specific interests and skill set alignment.
Applicants must be HCPC registered dietitians.
Our services operate across three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital, along with community healthcare facilities.
All hospitals provide a range of planned and emergency care services, including outpatient, diagnostics, therapies, and inpatient surgery. Community outreach services are also available.
Newly appointed staff will undergo a 6-month probation period to familiarize themselves with the role and environment.
