Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Paediatric Audiologist/Clinical Scientist to lead and develop the paediatric audiology and habilitation service at MKUH. The role includes supervising evoked potentials for neonates and children (ABR, ASSR, Corticals) and guiding training for Audiology students and higher trainees.

• Training and supervision of Audiology BSc/MSc students and Level 6 apprenticeships.

Responsabilités

• Take a lead role in developing paediatric diagnostic audiology and habilitation services.
• Partake in evoked potential testing (ABR, ASSR, Corticals) for neonates and children, including supervision.
• Contribute to training of students and involvement in higher training schemes.

Clinical

• To take a lead role in the provision and continuing development of the paediatric diagnostic audiology and habilitation service.
• To partake in evoked potential diagnostic testing of neonates and young children including ABR, ASSR & Corticals Training and Supervision
• To partake in the training needs of Audiology BSc and MSc students (Level 6 apprenticeship / Scientist Training Programme / Higher Training Scheme).
• To provide guidance on all aspects of paediatric and adult audiology.

Non-clinical

• To maintain local paediatric audiology protocols in line with national and international advancements and implement these recommendations into clinical practice and local policy.
• To work towards achieving and maintaining IQIPS accreditation
